After some testing we quickly realized the actuator we used for steering just isnt fast enough for high speed. We will keep it for now, as it will not be going fast just yet :)

This is the rear wheel assembly for Project Power Wheels. Max carefully carved up the original plastic ups to use the drive hub on our new pneumatic wheels. We cut rubber exhaust hanger mounts in half and used them as bushings (along with some 2.5" bolts in the

Last night max rocked out the bushings to get the new pneumatic tires mounted to the original front axels. They are bushed with some pex tubing, sliced to make a C, slid inside some ¾" OD aluminum tubing. It gives a perfect fit between the bearings of the new
Max mounted the steering actuator for Project Power Wheels today.
It is a Firgelli Technologies L12 Linear Actuator. It has a built in controller and offers direct RC servo connection! 4 inches total travel (2" over center)
