Here I will detail the build log of our Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane overhaul. The goal of the project is to give it more power, better wheels, remote controllability and complete automation via GPS. We will be using Traxxas ESC+Motors, Linear servo for steering, Ardupilot Mega 2.5 for control+gps+automation (with modified Ardurover code to add rear differential support and local control input for steering/shifter and throttle).
We have already done a lot of the initial teardown and test harness powertrain work.
